(16,248 posts)Stop the indictments and let him slide? No one is above the law unless youre 76 yrs old? His offenses should be overlooked which ones? Heres my take. No mercy. He had none for our country or the office he held for four years. He will never get all that he deserves.

(612 posts)Nobody forced the defeated, impeached, former occupant of the White House to commit crimes. Now, he will have to pay. Are you implying that he's a king, and is, somehow above the law? He is an ordinary citizen, and has been treated with profound courtesy by our justice system. But his age is incidental to his crimes. He is older. So am I (I'm 81). If I committed espionage last year, would you recommend that the justice system simply look the other way? Seriously? No! Trump acted -- and, from my perspective, continues to act -- against the best interests of the United States. He should be incarcerated. And whatever happens after that just happens. Relax, Levin -- It will be OK.
