The FBI has always been a conservative, right-leaning organization.

While they may be the premier law-enforcement agency in the country, they have a history of attacking liberals and progressive causes. They have never been friendly to the left.

So, why are MAGA Republicans calling for the defunding of the FBI? Why would they want to clean house and make it over in their image?

Can we even imagine an FBI that surrendered its last bit of integrity and its faith in the justice system? Instead, it would swear allegiance to a person or a political Party.

2. I used to do pro bono work for the Texas Municipal Police Association.

They have 18,000 members in Texas and hold an annual convention. The keynote speakers would alternate between Gov Good Hair Perry and the AG Abbott. I was the only open Democrat there and was tolerated only because of my work. Officers would privately tell me they would vote for Democrats but were all afraid to be found out. They were afraid for their jobs if anyone was to find out. That is how bad it is!

3. I think I can answer that.

The hard right-wingers are now domestic terrorists. So, it's impossible for the FBI to cover for them or to help them out without losing all legitimacy.

If we manage to hold the presidency, I expect to see a slothing off of these people in these organizations. They want Civil War, and they are going to learn the same lesson that socialists learned in South America and Cuba. The ordinary man does not want war.
