Romney campaign plays "We Are The Champions" at Florence SC rally where he draws small, sleepy crowd

Two Buzzfeed articles from the same person:

http://www.buzzfeed.com/zekejmiller/romney-draws-small-sleepy-crowd

-snip-

Standing on a low stage at the center of the small crowd, Romney gave his standard stump speech, drawing just a smattering of applause on the usual lines.

Only 100 supporters attended the event, billed as a "Grassroots Rally and Discusses Jobs and the Economy with Supporters" by the campaign. Staffers removed the tall ladder at the side of the room to prevent photographers from capturing the vast empty space between the press file and the crowd.

http://www.buzzfeed.com/zekejmiller/romney-musically-declares-victory-plays-we-are-t

FLORENCE, South Carolina—Mitt Romney's presidential campaign boldly — and musically — declared victory here, blasting Queen's "We Are The Champions" at a rally here.

-snip-

Later, the campaign played Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust," — another new song — perhaps a reference to Jon Huntsman dropping out of the race for the White House yesterday.

If "Another One Bites The Dust" was meant as a jab at Huntsman, after he just endorsed Romney, it's one more example of how politically tone-deaf Romney is.

And the small crowd he drew, despite being the frontrunner, backs up all the recent stories about polls showing the loss of enthusiasm among GOP voters.

Mitt hold's "rallies", which means he doesn't respond to questions from the crowd. Way too much uncertainty...

and paid to attend - hence the yawning and lethargy. Republicans are A) Lazy and B) greedy & cheap. They probably got minimum wage to be there so those suckers didn't have much oomf.

Contrast that photo to the 75,000 who'd come out to see President Obama in Portland, Oregon, posted by Tx4obama: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=166718 and you'll see how easily President Obama will win reelection.

And it was a pleasure to make those contrasts. We've got to keep it real, and we've got to show the "writing on the wall" which is telling us, President Obama is not going to have a problem with . . . . . . reelection.

Even if every one percenter were to vote for him (which they won't), it wouldn't be enough.

If I had $362,000 tax-free dollars at my disposal, I'd be able to retire in 7 years. And I'm not even close to retirement age.

Just wait . . . he practically TOPS himself weekly in stupid and shameless statements. I don't believe we've seen the peak of Mitt's phoniness. Oh, it's coming.
