His comments in the NYT piece were clownish and transparently self-serving. He is in way over his head when it comes to journalism and our democracy.

Listening to Keith Olbermann talk about Licht & Scarborough at MSNBC really makes me wonder why Colbert ever hired him.

But with less power than that title usually implies. Colbert said he gave the show more organization, which is what you were saying. I wish Colbert was on now to get his take, but maybe after the strike he will chime in. So far as I know he hasn't commented on Licht to this point.

Why so many supposedly science fiction movies or TV shows are so terrible: the people making them know how to make a TV show or a movie, but know squat about science fiction.
