I imagine people in most ethnic groups, when something horrible or embarrassing happens...
and you don't know who or what yet, you're hoping it's not a white guy, or a Latino or Asian American, or a Black guy — which brings us to Clarence Thomas.
He's done it again to Black folks, and this is worst than the Anita Hill/Coke can hot mess, or the fact that once Thomas ascended to SCOTUS, he went years without saying a word to question those before the court, like a big dummy...literally "The Spoke Who Sat by the Door."
Now it's the worst yet, he, sitting on the highest court in the land has let a billionaire Harlan Crow buy him by treating him and his wife for decades to luxury vacations on super yachts and private jets, plus buying and fixing up his mother's house and letting her live there rent free. And of course that's not all, Crow has also paid 6-figure, private school tuition for Thomas' great nephew who he's raised as a son.
And of course it's supposed to be innocent. They're great friends. Right!
And Thomas has said he prefers to vacation at Walmart parking lots in a camper. Right again!
We all kinda know Ginni wouldn't be caught dead in a camper in a Walmart parking lot.
Yep, Thomas has done it to Black folks again with all these messy, embarrassing revelations about a man who makes 263k a year plus speaking/appearance fees whatever that amounts to, and can't/won't support his mother and nephew.
I give up, the only hope left to exonerate Thomas is to ask Crow for his manumission papers...like that is gonna happen.
