Here's the only statement from Fox I've seen:
They acknowledge certain claims, made day after day after day for many hours each day, over a period of years to be false? That's it? And that's supposed to reflect a commitment to the highest journalist standards? And undo the damage resulting from their lies?
Bullshit... Unadulterated bullshit.
Like Chris Hayes said, they settled in order to keep the primetime trio and Rupert off the witness seat, under oath telling their viewers they knew the 2020 election was fair and Biden won but they needed to keep their ratings up, journalistic standards be damned.
Tucker, Hannity and Ingraham will continue to spread their toxic propaganda same as always, as editorial opinions rather than provable facts. That's all they know how to do.
Wait and see if I ain't right.

(3,975 posts)Fox is admitting, by taking the easy way out, that they lied about Dominion, the election, and they've undermined any possible trust that existed. They want this out of the headlines, to fix their tanking ratings and they figure, over time, they can earn the money back.
I hope the fallout from this shuts them down, off and out.

(2,278 posts)I just saw a clip with Stefanik on Fox talking about the epicenter of crime...New York city; it's the 5th safest city in the country. Whether or not she was challenged with the statistic, I don't know. But if the hosts didn't, they aren't guilty of spreading the lie, just letting it on the airwaves.
Fox can't exist without somehow telling their viewers, the radical right is their only savior.

More people and/or businesses will sue them for lying.
Let's see how long they can keep this up and keep operating as usual.
