A prescient novel about abortion being outlawed in the US

It's called "Red Clocks", written in 2018 by Leni Zumas. In the novel, abortion is outlawed throughout the US and women are arrested and extradited if they try to enter Canada for the procedure. IVF is also outlawed, and single women cannot adopt a child. When I read it a few years ago I thought it was unbelievable. But now? Scary to think it could happen.

Years ago as an undergraduate I took an English class titled "Dystopian Literature."
I was young and it all seemed so farfetched and unbelievable.

I had no idea what was in store for the world.

Thanks for the reminder.

Either get jackbooted or pick your drug to “tune it out”.
