Judge Barbara Lynn of the Northern District of Texas is taking senior status effective May 15

creating a vacancy there. She is a Clinton appointee.

Red state district court vacancies keep piling up.

Judge Audrey Fleissig of the Eastern District of Missouri, an Obama appointee, assumed senior status on April 14 creating a vacancy there. There was already a vacancy in the Eastern District of Missouri with Judge Rodney Sippel, a Clinton appointee, assuming senior status earlier this year. There is an expected vacancy there with Judge John Andrew Ross, an Obama appointee, announced that he will be taking senior status on June 9, opening up a third vacancy on the court.
