Does a good job. The Karen got spitting mad when the employee behind the front desk told her to leave the black woman alone. I can't make out all of it, but I do hear the employee saying, "you can't do that," or something along those lines.

So this video actually makes the motel look like they were doing the right thing about the dispute that started the whole thing. Good for them!

When white men get on an elevator. I know who the real danger is to me, because I know two women raped by white men in elevators. And that's within my limited social circle. If that's the case with a loner like me, I can only imagine what the numbers on a larger scale might be.

And you never know what will come of being nice. One of the guys and I became "snack shop" buddies after I did that "I'm safer with you" thing around him. The office building where we worked had a snack shop, and I got coffee there most days (a job perk was coffee club membership that gave us unlimited refills as long as we used a special cup). I was always oblivious about people in my vicinity before morning coffee, but he had noticed me at the snack shop every day. Not in a creepy way, just as a normal observant person. We said hi a few times, then it progressed to chats before heading up to the office, or if we happened to be there for breaks at the same time. Lovely man, in every way.

No, dating didn't happen. I also didn't date other guys I had similar workplace relationships with. Business and private lives don't mix, especially when you don't conform to certain norms, as was the case with me. Atheists and loner women like me have to be more proactive in protecting ourselves from a society that isn't accepting of who we are. To put it mildly.
