(31,062 posts)All these Republicans constantly complaining about the lack of civilization, why does nobody ask them what they are doing to make this country more civilized. I keep thinking of Woodstock where we knew there was no law-enforcement, and the slightest altercation could set off the tinder box. We were polite and considerate of each other. Its the only way it would have worked. Its the only way it ever works in a civilized society

I appreciate that moving beyond tots and pears but if Sandy Hook did move the gun nutz to change course... Nashville won't even make them lose any sleep.

A tragic irony if this gun toting ex-student felt abandoned by her earlier Christian indoctrination because of the current politically driven Christian attacks on the LGBTQ community.

(5,070 posts)Maybe if he had spoken up then he might have persuaded some of those "good Christian" lawmakers to vote for gun control and the kids at the Christian school would still be alive today.
