My father and I will be helping a lifelong New Deal Democrat, tried and true progressive, and retired career teacher to get to nom.

She said that it's time we start running against Mike Kelly and "wants to discredit and destroy what shred of character and credibility he may have left in his body."

When things get rolling, I will let you all know, but if we can get her elected, PA-16 will have a older, grayer, female version of Big John.

My mother was worried about her age. I had to tell her Kelly is four years older than she is. She laughed on facebook and said she still is a spring chicken then.

I told her if a 28 year old Puerto Rican woman can win in the House from NY, her 70 year old Italian raised clone can do the same in Pennsylvania. What's funny about that is when I was a very young child, we lived in NYC and lived in what is now AOC's district.

Not a PA resident anymore, but I was raised in Allegheny County and have relatives in Butler County. My late grandfather was a lifelong steelworker at J&L and union man. As far as I'm concerned, no part of Western PA or Eastern PA should be Republican. It's bad enough so much of the politics in the state have been dominated by central PA and they whine about lack of representation when Dems win.
