Franklin Graham: America On ‘Path Of Destruction’

Evangelist Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham, said Wednesday that in re-electing President Obama, America was continuing down a "path of destruction," reports the Charlotte Observer.

“Unless we’re willing to repent for our sins, we will stand in his judgment,” Graham said. “I want to warn America: God is coming around. He will judge sin, and it won’t be pretty.”

Graham also said he hoped Congress and the president would work together.

In May, Graham made headlines when he said Obama had "shaken his fist" at God by supporting same-sex marriage.

God will attack us soon, and we'll be helpless before the might of an angry God because our Navy has fewer ships than it's had since World War 1!!!1!

I bet he didn't put dime one of his own money on the line. I'll be he funnelled all sorts of campaign dollars to family & crony operations. Plus now he doesn't even have to worry about running the country. Goddamn brilliant.

I'd like the opportunity to spit in Franklin Graham's face. I'm so tired of hearing about the divine consequences of being a Democrat. I'm just as tired of religious leaders trying to scare the shit out of people with a punishment that by its very nature is transcendent and unknowable.

of God and God's actions.

Kiss my ass you hypocrite. If Jesus were to return today, Graham would lead the charge to nail him to another cross because his cash cow would come crashing down if our Lord returned in this life-time.

If you really believe in the existence of the deity you claim to worship, indeed you should be afraid. Lies are not popular with that deity, according to the words written about him. Not popular at all.

You should hide from the deity you worship. He is not amused right now, assuming He exists in the first place.

On the other hand, if your deity is just a myth, you have nothing to worry about, and neither does President Obama. If that is the case, you're just blowing hard and should stop doing that.

Can we also not invite Cardinal Dolan, Rick Warren, or Joel Osteen?

Sister Simone Campbell would be welcome. The Revs. Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton would also be welcome to say a few appropriate words.
