A conservative non-profit group allied with former President Donald Trump urged Hill staffers and their colleagues to cut off meetings with any former Jan. 6 committee staffers who have since joined firms that lobby.
In a letter sent to hundreds of recipients on the Hill, the dark money group American Accountability Foundation listed the names of the former committee staffers and their titles along with their new employers and links to their firms clients all of whom they urged to blacklist.
AAF has put together a cheat-sheet below outlining their new firms and the firms clients so you can be sure you (and your staff) arent inadvertently taking a meeting with a company that hires staff that hates your boss, says the memo sent by Thomas Jones, the groups president and founder. In his letter, Jones noted recent reporting by POLITICO on the January 6 committee staffers being hired by law and lobbying shops.
It is important to remember that even if one of these former J6 investigators is not listed as a lobbyist on this specific account, the billings brought in by the clients listed below benefit all staff at the J6 investigators new firm, he added.

Via Charlie Pierce:
This isn't the just former president*'s minions, either. The aforementioned Jones earned his ratfcking chops in the employ of Ted Tailgunner Cruz, where he undoubtedly spent time denouncing, you know, woke cancel culture. And now he's running a blacklist. This is a lovely career path brother Jones is on, if you ignore the fact that it's paved with vipers.
He's learned the MAGA catechism as well as his old, scarpering-to-Cancun boss has. Of course, without the dark money raised by the organized corporate money-power, (especially through its, ah, lobbyists), Mr. Jones would be selling jerk chicken out of a food truck on the National Mall.
Central to its plans for the 2024 election is the Republican Party's campaign to destroy the national memory, to shatter the common history through which we all lived. It is essential that it do so for the party to survive its own poisonous absurdity. That this will also redound to the benefit of El Caudillo del Mar-A-Lago, around whom the walls of the national trash compactor are slowly closing, is a chance the GOP is willingeven eagerto take, since it has nothing else to run on.
My suspicion is that this assault on reason and our collective memory will continue to burp and bubble up into the daylight from time to time. My further suspicion is that any attempt to link them together through their obvious purpose will be dismissed as coincidence, rather than conspiracy, or as an effort to villainize "tough politics.

They want people's careers ruined for being part of a vital investigation into an attempted coup.
