Well, the founder seems to be, per the Guardian live feed:
Speaking upon the invitation of the Russian ambassador to the council, Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters called for an immediate ceasefire in an address to the UN security council on Wednesday.
The US deputy ambassador to the UN, Richard Mills, responded by questioning Waters credentials to address the council on the conflict and then deferred to the Ukrainian representative, Sergiy Kyslytsya, who accused the musician of unwittingly becoming a tool for Russian propaganda.
Kyslytsya said:
How sad for his former fans to see him accepting the role of just a brick in the wall the wall of Russian disinformation and propaganda.

(8,073 posts)After all... he's the genius behind Pink Floyd! Just ask him!
There is no doubt the man is (or was) a massive musical talent. But he's tankie trash. He's set himself so hard in opposition to the evils of THE WEST that he, like many of the very far left, has adopted the rather bizarre notion that the Russians are good guys in this, or at least, BOTH SIDES are at fault.
Fuck Waters and all Ptuin apologists.

(102,062 posts)Nick Mason is still alive (and the only person who has played on all Pink Floyd records), and he's not a Putin stooge. While Dave Gilmour joined a couple of years after the start, when Syd Barrett started to show the effects of drugs, it'd be harsh to diminish his role in Pink Floys compared to Waters, too. And Gilmour has backed his wife in her public criticism of Waters' crap.

(13,641 posts)Roger Waters is, but the rest of the band, Nick Mason, David Gilmour, etc,, definitely are not, and neither was the late Richard Wright.

(88,766 posts)...you're smearing the entire band, some who have already spoken out in objection to Waters.

(21,589 posts)The author clearly had his fill of Roger Waters the blowhard, but managed to survive 4 hrs of talking to Waters.
My favorite part is when the author points out Waters was ranting about Rick Wright, who has been dead for a decade, as if he's in the room with them.
