(5,568 posts)Doesn't work, then they get elected and they prove it.
In some states they just repeat it. States like Alabama.
I really like how you summed it up in just a couple sentences.

There are blisters but it doesnt hurt. I wish Id had that tip you gave me earlier because it sounds like it would work.

(21,655 posts)People will have no idea just how bad things are under idiots like SHS. and theyll go right on hating Dems and loving rethugs for supporting small government while Obamacare pays for their medical problems, and they cash their government checks that keeps food in their bellies.

(51,484 posts)governor, Lt. gov., the state Senate and House, 2 US Senators, and 4 US Representatives... and one who would be President in 1993. It was a Blue state.
Things changed in that state in under 20 years. I dearly loved NW Arkansas: the city I lived in, the university, the natural beauty of the area, my 1858 home, my friends, etc. But when TFG was elected, I saw the path Arkansas would take and I left in 2020.
If you believe, "it can't happen" where you live, don't bet on it. Authoritarian rule, fascism, and hate are on the march around the world. It starts when a majority in the statehouse passes laws telling cities and local governments what they can and can't do. Look what's happening at school boards even in Blue states. Ask what happened in Wisconsin.
