"SNIP.......

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) called on House Republicans on Monday to lay out the spending cuts they’re proposing as part of a deal to raise the debt ceiling and decried what he called their strategy of “brinkmanship” and “hostage taking” to open negotiations, The Hill reports.

Said Schumer: “The new rules that they adopted require them to bring a proposal to the floor of the House and show the American people precisely what kind of cuts they want to make. If Republicans are talking about draconian cuts, they have an obligation to show Americans what those cuts are and let the public react.”

One two punch, with Jeffries doing the same thing--making McCarthy explain why Schiff and Swalwell should not be on their committees.

under the 14th Amendment. We don't want that day to have been a dress rehearsal for their next attempt to destroy America. They should be in jail, not getting a fat paycheck for fking everything up. Don't get me started on Senorita George Santos. Oy fking vay!

Cover whatever costs they’re worried about by getting rid of the 2017 trump tax cut on wealthy.

I don’t doubt I can guess which proposals would be favored by a majority of Americans

Let the Republicans negotiate with themselves over whether to blow up the US and world economy. They're the ones that started this.

They want people who spend all their money every month to pay a 30% sales tax. It is them who should pay a minimum tax. We should not negotiate.
