Classified Documents Found in Second Location Associated With Biden

The revelation is sure to intensify Republican attacks on the president, who has called former President Donald J. Trump irresponsible for hoarding sensitive documents at his estate in Florida.

WASHINGTON — President Biden’s aides found a new batch of classified documents at a second location associated with Mr. Biden, according to a person familiar with the situation — the second disclosure in three days of his retention of government files dating from his vice presidency.

It is not clear where or when the documents were recovered. But Mr. Biden’s aides have been scouring various places since November, when his lawyers discovered a handful of classified documents, which included briefing materials on foreign countries, when they were closing a think tank office in Washington.

The discovery of the second batch was earlier reported by NBC News on Wednesday.

A White House spokesman and a member of Mr. Biden’s legal team did not immediately return requests for comment. A spokesman for the Justice Department declined to comment.

Legal experts say that it is not uncommon for some people who have security clearances to mishandle classified documents. But these situations are typically handled administratively, not criminally, because the criteria for prosecuting people who mishandle classified documents include proving that the person deliberately flouted rules for how to secure the materials.

So when out of DC, Biden received briefing materials that were not properly taken care of after he read them (I am assuming Biden actually read briefing materials given to him). Who was responsible for making sure such materials got returned?

The DoJ is concerned with the law, so the fact that Trump has loads of evidence against him that he broke the law (and Biden doesn't) should be all that matters to the DoJ.

...both reports state the documents were found by Biden aides. And, they reported the find themselves.
No archive request ignored, no court order, no warrant, no sworn statement that ALL docs were returned when they weren't.
The two issues compare like apples & horseshoes.

Joe gets pulled over, gives the cop his license, and pays the fine.

Trump gets pulled over, he evades on a high speed chase, and when the cops catch him, he tells the cops to fuck off, resists arrest, rips up the summons and doesn't show up to court.

But, yeah it's the same thing
