I am sorry but 2012 is quite nice.I doubt if anyone will read this but I need a moment to vent. I need a moment to express how happy I feel this morning. My nerves were so bad yesterday and last night up until the point where Pennsylvania was called for Obama that I thought I was going to faint. I think I feel more ecstatic this post election than I felt in 2008. Don't get me wrong I felt happy in 2008 but something about this election win tasted so SWEETER. Seeing Karl Rove lose his mind on Fox News last night was the ultimate gift. The defeat and karma for the 8 years of Bush has finally bit them in the behind!!!
This was the first time my little brother was of age to vote (19 years old) and he called my mom feeling so happy that his candidate won.
I hope the President knows that he still has our support here in North Carolina.
And NO I refuse to hold back how happy I am this morning. If these racists can spew off bigotry then darn it, I have the ultimate right to celebrate!!! I feel so relived. I am so glad that this election is OVER. It was a long battle but we did it!!! The scene from Obama HQ in Chicago last night touched my heart - the diversity. The acceptance of people from all walks of life. Wake up GOP, it's 2012 not 1952!! If you don't want to move forward, move out of my way and be prepared to be left behind.
THE WORK FOR ELECTION 2014 STARTS TODAY!!!!!!! Let's turn the Congress and Senate BLUE!!!!
Okay that is all, not back to studying I go. I didn't even want to study for my PoliSci class last night because my nerves were so bad last night lol.

(40,168 posts)2. The Romney family reminded me of "Plasticville"
You know, cardboard figurines with a little more gloss.

(256 posts)6. The difference is jarring...
The Obamas are a family.
The Romneys are business partners with a common genetic make-up.
