If Kevin McCarthy had not made the trip to Mar-a-Lago?

Where would we be right now?

Would he still be the nominee for Speaker?

Would the Republicans still be in control of the House? Would they still be the majority?

Would Trump have already been convicted if Kevin had not made his trip to Florida and given him a new life?

And now he wants to be Speaker?

He says he has earned it and deserves it.

Does he?

... is there some other Repub that would be more favorable for Democratic agenda items? Jim Jordan? Steve Scalise? Herschel Walker?

If there was a favorable repub, then the Dem members should back him or her, with a handful of Repubs. I don't see that happening.

He is the greatest ass kisser who ever walked the planet.
And now he is finding out that the people who's asses you kiss hold you in contempt.

And he created a roadblock for justice, which is still blocking the DOJ from doing its job.

It was completely dishonorable, I'd even say it was craven.

Before that trip where he kissed Chump's butt, for a few weeks I thought maybe Kevin might have a spine.
But no of course not. I hope they evict him out of the Speaker's office soon. He took it unfairly.

If he had not gotten on his knees and kissed Trump's lard ass, there would be more republicans refusing to support him.

...going to get an icky puke Speaker no matter what...

...I can't help but feel we should be making more political hay out of this...

...to cut the legs out from under the MAGATs would benefit everyone...would kevvy make us happy, no, but would he make us less unhappy...?

...if kevvy sells more of his soul to the MAGATs and one MAGAT can call for a Speaker vote then today will be EVERYDAY in the House...

...I hope the House Dems are weighing this carefully and will seize any opportunity...
