Elon Musk finally Resigns as CEO of Twitter

The Twitter owner recently held a poll putting his future as CEO in the hands of social media users.

It took time but Elon Musk finally kept his word.

The whimsical and charismatic visionary will respect the results of the poll he himself organized on December 18.

-snip-

Voters had only two options: Yes and No. Nearly 18 million Twitter users had voted and 57.5% had opted for Yes. Musk had pledged to respect the results of the vote.

since he already killed the content moderation team.

so, while he doesn't have the title of CEO, he still owns it and runs the entire engineering team, leaving only the sales team which, as we all know, is in the shitter.

The linked article has nothing to add to the "when I find someone foolish enough" tweet.

There's a fair amount of filagree from the writer of this article.

But nothing to support the fait accompli headline.

Elon will still be in control of the editorial content....the CEO will be the designated jerk to take the public heat.

He has said he will resign once he finds a replacement. Not the same thing, especially since the article suggests he has been playing games with people who have come forward; finding excuses not to name them as CEO - or putting up artificial barriers.
