“Truth matters little to him,
What’s right matters even less,
And decency matters not at all.“

He said this at the close of Trump’s first impeachment trial.

It’s worth watching the whole thing. One great speech given during the first impeachment hearing. Here’s an ad based on the speech:

of both the House and Senate despite Mitch McConnell's hamstringing the introduction of
clear evidence of TFG's crimes it was laid out that Trump tried to blackmail and extort
Zelenskyy to produce phony evidence that Joe Biden and his son had committed some kind
of crime and in doing so Trump was helping Putin in his war on the people of Ukraine. And
every single republican in the House and Senate voted to let Trump get away with his shit.

And now despite the ass kicking the GOP took at the polls last November the republicans who
through nothing more then bald faced cheating (gerrymandering and SCOTUS' rulings that let
the gerrymandering stand) are going to rake over the House and try to run a "shit show."

“Truth matters little to THE GOP*,
What’s right matters even less,
And decency matters not at all.“

* BTW one of the best men I have ever known was Ray Shafer Governor of PA and a Republican too.

We need Trump's phone call to Zelenskyy and the full Mueller Report released.

They have no shame, but rather a sense of entitlement.
They have no honor, but rather glee that they got away with something.
They have no sense of decency, but rather an unquenchable desire for more and more money and power.

How does someone live with himself without shame, honor, and decency? To them honor and shame are for suckers.

34. Psychopaths are born
Fri Dec 9, 2022, 06:05 AM
Dec 2022

They have poor or no development in key parts of the brain that make them incapable of empathy. They exhibit anti-social behaviors from a very young age, such as extremely violent tantrums, or willfully hurting other children and animals, sometimes even adults. A young child who would physically attack a music teacher for correcting him, or who would throw rocks at a baby? That's a psychopath.

Sociopaths are made. These are people who aren't born with the brain development problems, but who grow up in violent/traumatic situations which curtail or destroy their ability to empathize. Think people who grow up in super-abusive homes, in bad neighborhoods with high levels of violence on a daily basis, or in war zones. Losing empathy is what they resort to not because they want to, necessarily, but as a survival mechanism.

Sociopaths also often know right from wrong, but usually won't care. Psychopaths neither know nor care.

This is a great resource for understanding the differences (video is longish, but quite informative):
