It looks like something from Hee Haw back in the day.

They would not volunteer to wear that dress.
To think Arkansas has gone from Bill Clinton to that!
Remind me to never visit Arkansas!

My 17 year old sisters had to wear them and fend off patients. They quit because of it.
This was back in the 70s and some reason the hospitals were OK with minors being groped.

(576 posts)I had a student write a resume for an assignment and instead of writing that she volunteered as a "candy striper", she wrote "candy stripper". Well, I bet those patients got well quickly! ha ha

(16,683 posts)All I can see is the blonde hair. Of course there is nothing wrong with changing one's hair color. I've done it myself, albeit less drastically. And really, it's none of my business. It really isn't. I just can't seem to help really not liking it on her. At all.
I was already having a hard enough time trying to imagine her being governor of a whole state. I wouldn't be shocked if she'd run for a congressional seat, or even a lower statewide office. But governor? I just can't get my head around it. I guess I shouldn't be that surprised. I guess anyone named Huckabee is automatically a big fish in the little pond that is Arkansas.
I just find it all profoundly weird.

(17,998 posts)Look at the cute legs look.. she is too old, too heave to wear what I would assume be her idea of a Dallas cheerleader look.
What I would like to know is who let her out of the house like that? Her kids? Were they mad at Mom?

(50,608 posts)Shed look better in a dark pantsuit, white blouse, business pumps, about a foot less hair and a reasonable amount of makeup
but looking like she got dressed with the lights out is her personal style.
Im more concerned about her governance, which is almost guaranteed to be worse than showing up for a press conference in a dress she made out of a mattress cover.

and a snarky sense of humor, and loves bright splashy colors and outfits that are cut to fit her body-type. I may not like her politics and I dont think she looks Senatorial, but she carries it off. (By the way, any woman in elective office who loves bright colors and wants to look professional should get an album of Nancy Pelosi photos. Impeccable.)
Poor Sarah wouldnt know what verve is if it bit her on the nose. She looks depressed and angry in equal measure at all times and her fashion choices reflect that.
3catwoman3
(24,153 posts)...teacher or children's librarian some of her sartorial antics might pass muster, but things like the Fuck You ring, the sleeveless denim vest, and sneakers are not at all appropriate, IMO. She dresses like she's 12.
