Interesting thing I saw yesterday driving by the Palm Beach airport.

In the spot on the tarmac where Trump Force One is usually parked, sitting there instead was a very large Russian cargo plane.

Now, does that actually mean anything?

Probably not.

Not definitely not...but probably not.

An area of reinforced concrete for parking heavy aircraft, like a Boeing 747 or Antonov-124. Some airports have many such areas .. some few. My guess is that PBI has only a few hard stands.

But it does mean something. It means that you are very observant!

And also are Russian-flagged aircraft allowed in U.S. airspace? I think not.

But PBI is far from a small airport by any stretch of the imagination. Plenty of commercial sized jet-liners and cargo planes.

FWIW, Trump Force One is a 757, which is smaller than an Anatov 124 (which this looked to be.)

Russian aircraft are not currently allowed to enter US airspace. It’s likely been confiscated and is in storage.

Antonov 124 (Russian built) I really wanted a photo of it but it was too far east even at 28k ft. I switched over to flightradar24 and it did depart West Palm but origin and destination were n/a and it was showing as civilian not military
