FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Republican David Valadao will win the race for the 22nd Congressional District in California over Democrat Rudy Salas, the Associated Press projects.

Valadao had recently represented the 21st Congressional District -- which stretched from the Valley's Westside and down to Kern County.

The message is that 8 out of 10 who didn't kiss his behind, ended up losing.

The fact that 2, in the Bluest of Blue states, CA & WA, survived, does not exactly give confidence.

I'm glad that they did the right thing, but be realistic. They were outliers. In red states, they would have lost by 20-30% in the primary, like Liz Cheney.
