AOC as minority leader. She could do the job well, but they’ll probably pick someone who’s been in Congress longer. Jeffries would also be a fine choice.

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), the current chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, said he will run for House minority leader after Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced Thursday that she will not seek reelection to a leadership role, according to two people familiar with the decision who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the private conversations.

Jeffries is a good choice, although I was hoping for Jamie Raskin. I also really hope Adam Schiff runs for Feinstein's seat.
