I am glad that we have done as well as we have in spite of it being a midterm that should favor the R's more

But, we can't always count on things like a SC ruling and lunatic R candidates.

We need to work hard at gaining rural voters and changing their mind set. We need much more local grass roots ground work in states, counties, and cities.

I am in a traditionally blue state, NY. But a map of red vs. blue regions shows the state is nearly solid red except for NYC, Albany, and Buffalo. That is not good. NY should be able to put many more Dems in the House.

No red wave for sure. Probably not even red drips. They might gain 10-ish House seats. Senate is still a toss up. We gained quite a few governorships.

There is no 'blue wave' either, but the indicators look better for us than for the Republicans.

We held the NH Senate seat. We won the PA Governorship...

and there have been NO "surprise Republican wins" ~ MSNBC

We are holding the line. There is no Democratic disaster as predicted by the MSM. It seems more of an even contest, like 2000 or 2020...

Democrats even still have a chance to hold to hold the House, although I do not personally hope for that, because of gerrymanding...

You can sleep easy believing that there will be no 'Democratic distaster'. NO 'red wave'

Many votes remain to count, and that may take days.... but we will not be "shellacked"

'this may be the best midterm for a party holding the white house, in history' ~ MSNBC
