Reality is already bad enough. I don’t need to read it every time.

I’ve been a star DU member since 2005, when Skinner ruled. The board was a source of comfort. Funnily enough, the “F it” point for me was when Markle and Harry’s donation to a TX hurricane relief made it to Breaking News and it freaking stayed there! A true WTF moment especially since I didn’t know who these people were.

I come here around election time because people used to lift each other up. This year, short of proclaiming Trump as the “God Emperor”, a lot of posts are meant to bring people down.

FWIW, there's no expectation that people are supposed to be putting a happy face on tonight. We are going to see some disappointing results, and we are probably going to lose the House. We're likely to see some good results too. There are going to be some emotional ups and downs. And MIRT is on top of things.

I'm going to lock this now.
