I'm guessing he is also a MAGA Piece Of Shit. But I suppose all that matters to the Nets, is that he's a good basketball player. Money Above Morals I guess.

(10,043 posts)He rode LeBron James' jock to a title, failed on his own in Boston, tried to ride Kevin Durrant's jock to another title and has so far failed miserably at that as well...
Professionally he is mid, at best.
Personally, he is an "L".

(68,613 posts)Even the analysts drool over his "skills" but winning is the point & he hasn't proven, except in 2 games (out of 3) against an injured Steph Curry.
Teams have even done better when he's gone.
He's really good. He's not great, is not a true difference maker, and a pain in the neck teammate.
They'd be better off with Harden, and Irving the one traded. But, no.

There's enough not to like about him than something he admitted he didn't really believe.
My "things to dislike about him" list is already forearm long.
I'll let the flat earth thing go.

(11,366 posts)The common denominator in every single one of his controversies is that he gets suckered into believing nonsensical conspiracy theories he reads on the internet, particularly if it comes from YouTube. It explains the flat earth stuff, the antivax garbage, and now this movie. He essentially thinks that he's the smartest guy in the room, so he gravitates to ideas that are not mainstream, without realizing that they are crazy, fringe beliefs. He's ultimately a moron and this is all classic Dunning-Kruger effect.

(68,613 posts)I've said that about him, as well. That's his biggest problem. He's nowhere near as smart as he thinks he is and doesn't know the difference between curiosity & gullibility.
He's a punk and too much too soon.
Also, Uncle Drew that he was in stunk, and I'm a sucker for sports movies.
It was a quarter hour story in a 100 minute movie.
The Whoppi movie "Eddie" is a way more fun b-ball movie.

(22,308 posts)Looks like the Knicks didn't miss out on KI and Kevin Durant after all.
BTW, his coach, Steve Nash, just got fired.

(9,999 posts)It always amazes me how teams are willing to blame the coach before they blame their players who make Millions.

(22,308 posts)The NY Knicks may be struggling to build a team worthy of respect, but at least they're not saddled with this shit-show of a team across the East River whose owners and front office thought they could buy their way to a championship.
