The only reason Hershel Walker was given an honorary police badge?

He was a big time football player! Period! It’s association by fame! I was given the same association when I was a kid (14 or 15 years old) and was given a fake badge from our neighbor who was a police officer. It was a medal badge, but it was also stamped with one word, non-official! I put it away and never used it to out of trouble or get what I wanted!

Having a police badge does not make one a police officer. It just means you have a badge. There are a lot of dipshits out there with badges. You can buy them on eBay.

Herschel doesn't know the significance of the word "honorary". He actually believes he's a Police Officer.

to go with it. Elvis had a ton of badges given to him. That didn't make him a police officer. As they say, "Cool story, Bro."

I was made a member of the "Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels"

Got a certificate, a little badge, and other such shit.

Never considered myself a Colonel though.
