I can't cut and paste from the article, but the thread title gives you the gist. I wonder if this will hurt or help her, considering the nature of her district.

(43,918 posts)It's the bloody Daily Heil (Mail), a true RW shit tabloid, so not surprised if the whole thing falls apart.
Mendoza wouldnt stand by her own posting.
Asked whether Boebert had shot her dog, she told DailyMail.com, Im not sure, I need to figure that out.
I need to take a step back for a second, she said while avoiding further questions. Im not ready to release anything to media sources.

(5,164 posts)But who knows. There is no way I would let her son or any of them come over to visit or take the dog etc. my dog and everyone else would be kept far away from all of them.
So we see the so called equal justice system once again. She gets off and this poor womans dog is gone.

(33,002 posts)This should cost her a bundle, and maybe she'll lose the election too.
I was hoping the neighbor had moved away before publicizing this, but apparently she still lives next door.

might want to do something on account of "fake news". We know how repugs are, attack one of us

(11,674 posts)I really despise Boebert and hesitate to give the benefit of the doubt to someone who has shown themselves repeatedly to be vile ignorant and petty, but if the dog was coming onto her property and attacking goats as the neighbor seems to admit in the letter then it may not be so easy to ascertain the guilty party in this case.

(28,533 posts)And as conservative as much of Boebert's district is, I can't see how shooting a neighbor's dog would be viewed as anything other than vile by most Coloradans.

(19,520 posts)Her supporters will praise her for protecting her property from danger.
OTOH, the race is closer than I expected, so it might not take a change of heart in many of her supporters to give the victory to the Democrat.

At times, dogs do make a break for it and they will go next door. It's just a matter of time.

According to Mendoza, the husky trespassed into Lauren Boeberts properties and was shot to death. Mendoza stated that Lauren Boebert claimed she thought the dog is violent and had to shoot her. She had no right to kill the dog, a comment reads. how do you kill a dog your oldest son plays with often with claims that you thought it to be violent? Your youngest son spent countless hours playing with her, Mendoza continued.
The article continues with the message from Mendoza reproduced upthread, and then some background info.
