(17,545 posts)Got the 5th shot as soon as available a few weeks ago and had slightly less reaction than earlier versions. Held off on flu vaccine until yesterday. First time flu shot didnt make my arm really sore for a few days. Hoping you have similar minimal impact 🙂

(84,465 posts)I had a nasty reaction to the flu shot, the arm was red and tender. My temp shot to 101.5. Two days, then I was fine. My body doesn't like the flu shot, it is not the first time I have had a reaction. The COVID arm was fine.
I am just glad I am vaxed.

(10,503 posts)I am a little worried that I got the flu shot too soon. It might have been better to wait another month.

(84,465 posts)However I am still masking 90% of the time. In the 2 years of COVID, I haven't even had a cold.
That says a lot.

My case wasn't too bad. The vaccine and paxlovid made it a mild experience.
If you have gotten 4-5 shots then you are in good shape. Your T-cells should be well trained to fight it off.

(51,808 posts)...a big migraine. I has a slight migraine from the previous shots but this time was worse, nausea, etc.
I would still get the shot even if I knew it would make me feel a little shitty compared to REALLY shitty with Covid. I will continue to get boosted as long as they make effective ones.

(28,134 posts)Flu shots have never bothered me but I've spent a day in bed after each Covid shot. I took Friday off assuming it will be the same this time.
