They weren’t gonna let anything happen to their Golden Goose, Pisswig the Dim.

Now, that’s another thing.

but I don’t care enough to look on the internet for rumor and innuendo. I just think that if there were a time when it happened, military school would’ve been the most likely.

I know the film. I met Terry Zwigoff when he was just a cello player in the band, R. Crumb and his Cheap Suit Serenaders

Way back in the day, R Crumb was my neighbor in my Podunk town in the Sacramento Valley. I learned quickly he was impossible to get to know, what with his quirks and phobias, but I'm cool with that.

The film's one disappointment: Zwigoff was denied interviews with Robert Crumb's two sisters.

60's and 70's. But now that I'm nearing retirement age, I've had a chance to see his work with a deeper understanding of art and the world. A lot of his art and comics were extremely racist and violently misogynistic. Some sickeningly so. I still appreciate his talent and have a bit of empathy for him and his brothers related to their cruel childhood, but now I see the hate hidden behind the ink.

Thanks for sharing your story. Small world.

I never can find a complete set for some reason, but all the other cells can be found on Google to give it some context.

Lucky you, knowing one of that gang!

21. Get A Load of This is often called the Pink Burrito song

The song is a cover of Charley Jordan's Keep It Clean with updated funny lyrics. It was written by Bob Armstrong and Allen Dodge, original member of the Suits. Bob told me the 'Pink Burrito' bit came in a flash when he and Dodge were parked outside a country store staring at a sign advertising Red's Burritos fixed to the wall, only the burrito was faded to a sad pink. Ding!

And background too. I still remembered most of the words and could swear we sang green burrito instead of pink. That old LP was in bad shape - sure got played enough.

But of course, Rethugians wouldn't care.
