'Ukrainian troops can liberate Crimea by the middle of next year'

Armed Forces of Ukraine can liberate Crimea by the middle of next year – Commander-in-Chief of the US Army in Europe

Former Commander-in-Chief of the US Army in Europe, retired Lieutenant General Ben Hodges believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to fight the enemy all winter and by the end of 2022 will push the Russians back to the line on February 23, and then the counteroffensive will expand to the Crimea.

“They will continue fighting all winter to keep putting pressure on the Russians to prevent them from regrouping and rebuilding their forces. I expect Ukrainian troops to liberate Crimea by the middle of next year,” the lieutenant general suggested.

but I'm sure his comments will have gone into Ukraine's Russian language Telegram feed which remains uncensored in Russia itself. A little something to encourage the draftees to turn up on time.

I don't know the answer about how to stop all this but shame on Russia.
My grandfather was born in Poland when Russia held Poland. His papers that he had to show whenever he went to Canada said Russia and he was always quick to point out that he was Polish not Russian. Has nothing to do with any of this except that every time I see Russia doing this stuff I remember grandpa Przytulski and his dislike for Russia. He was justified.

that Russia would lose everything in Ukraine just because they got greedy. They went in clearly not expecting as much as resistance (and certainly not what they would have dealt with had Trump won a second term).
