(2,273 posts)Reuters is just one poll. The RCP and 538 poll aggregates have Biden at about 44 %, which is not stellar, but an improvement.

(4,552 posts)Dems are still gaining. And I dont think weve seen the real wave yet from what SCOTUS did with their Dobbs decision.
I am not sitting back, complacent and feeling overly confident, but I feel better than I did 6 months ago regarding our prospects in November.
As other have said, greetings! Welcome to DU. Thanks for your concern.

(7 posts)A new Politico/Morning Consult poll finds President Bidens approval rating has ticked up to 46%, the first time it has reached that level since December 2021.
In the generic congressional ballot, Democrats now lead Republicans 46% to 41%.

(4,845 posts)But there are many polls and studies done that democrats and independents have changed into one issue voters (abortion rights). I am not saying there will not be a sizable amount of people that will vote according to the economy. But there are enough to at least offset it on our side. It will be a close election, we may or may not hold the house, but it's not a blowout that is usually seen for the party in the WH.
