I do agree, he's certainly not highly intelligent, but when it comes to crap like this, he's pretty greasy and is very careful about riding the lines of legality in just about everything he says and does.
We can call him all the silly kindergarten names that we want, but in the end, bad people are better at this than good people (most of the time) because that is what they do. Trump has made it his profession and has surrounded himself with others that assist him in doing so. So don't make the mistake of underestimating the lengths he will go to in order to protect himself from the liabilities of his behavior. That jackass almost always has an ace up his sleeve, and that is why everyone who confronts his bullshit has to step very lightly and very slowly in order to avoid giving him an escape route.
