bring some sort of charges.....

but, it's trump, a former president, with a cult of dangerous followers. there's a chance they're too afraid to go after him. In my opinion, this would be a major major step toward the end of democracy.

The longer he gets away with it the more they normalize it.

We keep getting told that justice is coming, but then it doesn't, and then there's outrage and surprise, and then there's more crimes, and we get a new dose of hopium that justice is coming... rinse and repeat.

There will be no consequences for his crimes, and he will continue to enjoy continued criminal immunity.
