GlaxoSmithKline fired Easterly, who at one point in the initial video suggested he was 'a little intoxicated', shortly after the viral video.
GSK put out a statement, saying: 'We immediately conducted an investigation and as of Thursday, he is no longer employed at GSK.
'The person's remarks were reprehensible and do not reflect our company culture.'
They added: 'At GSK, diversity, equity and inclusion is embraced and celebrated and we are committed in policy, principle and practice to maintaining an environment which prohibits discriminatory behavior and provides equal opportunity for all persons.'
A later video uncovered by TMZ shows him being taken off of the same plane in Philadelphia and speaking to a man who says he's a manager.
But Easterly then is heard repeatedly shouting the N-word at the people around him as he's escorted off of the plane and back into the terminal

(66,537 posts)"I was drunk. That's not who I am", when it very obviously is who they are. Drunkenness doesn't change one's character; it reveals it.
I don't know what this says about me, but when I get really drunk, I tend to hunker in a corner and get very quiet. I try not to talk to anyone or attract attention.

He's the kind of guy you like to have a beer (or 15) with. Or not

(1,693 posts)Despicable behavior like that, may well follow him via that video to any job he applies for in the future and if somehow he gets hired somewhere and that video surfaces, hes liable to get canned on the spot. This guy needs to give up alcohol it looks like.
