(10,913 posts)Talking to those assholes won't do anything but waste your time. Instead, help us make a list of their top sponsors with phone numbers, websites, etc. Then push from that direction.
We already have too many BS media outlets in this country. IMO, the last honest one left a few years ago- Al Jazeera.

And NOT sitting there, fuming in silence and obscurity.
It's "squeaky wheel" stuff.
It's the "if a tree falls in the forest and no-one hears it, it's as though no tree had fallen in the first place" stuff.

(4,044 posts)They have made a decision based on a billionaire's whims.
They know they will lose more liberal viewers than they will gain conservative ones.
When the decision is based on ideology and backed by serious money, ratings and profits are secondary.

(81,451 posts)If we just remain silent or go away silently, theyll never know and wont be bothered and wont care.
They at least need to know its not what their viewers want. Even if the head guy doesnt give a damn. And if viewership drops further, somebody in the executive suites is gonna start caring. Especially if its reflected in declining stock value and other bad news - which will eventually be noticed and likely commented on, in public.
Theyre not gonna welcome bad press along with failing financials.

From the link:
Call CNN at 1 (404) 827-1500. This number is for CNN customer service. If you hunt around, you can find direct phone numbers for various CNN bureaus and programs, although keep in mind that CNN doesn't encourage this kind of contact.
The CNN corporate office phone number is 404-827-1700 or you can fax them at 404-827-2600.
The customer service number for CNNs Washington D.C. bureau is 202-898-7900.[1]
Other customer service numbers for CNN in Atlanta are 404-878-2276 and the fax number is 404-827-1995.
Any of these you call, they have to make a note of it. And if those calls start to mount up, somebodys gonna notice, and say something. Inevitably.
I will try to call. Prolly not open now

(81,451 posts)Might be interesting (and further complicating, for them) to watch for awhile - maybe an hour or two, or a daypart, with a notebook.
Make a note of the commercials you see. And look them up, their corporate offices, and call or send complaints THERE, TOO.
