Instead of threats, Republicans should offer some solutions.

Karl Rove is now saying that if Donald Trump is indicted, it will "tear the country apart". Josh Hawley is saying there will be "riots" if Trump is arrested.

Those types of comments are of no value at this time.

Instead of standing up for the law, and saying that if the evidence shows that serious crimes have been committed, then the perpetrator should be held accountable, they threaten violence if there is any accountability, regardless of guilt or innocence.

They are a big part of the problem. They accept no responsibility. Rather than stand up for our democracy and the rule of law, they stand for mob violence.

When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.

……..Government. On its face, everyone should see that as a problem. To your point, the government of no. They want the percs and the power, but no responsibility.

Offering a solution risks offending some portion of their base. If people will vote for them without a commitment to specifics, why offer any?
