(47,131 posts)The September issue of Vogue comes out in August.
To be associated with the special September issue of Vogue is a privilege and honor in the fashion world.
The September issue of Vogue magazine is the most important, and often the largest, issue of the year. The purpose of this issue of the magazine is to make a statement about the upcoming year in fashion and to set trendsnot just fashion trends, but social and cultural trends moving forward.
September is the month when fashion couture week occurs in New York, Milan, Paris, and London, in which the most relevant collections of designers are presented. In these, the most important stores begin to exhibit the autumn-winter collections.
I am surprised you didn't learn this in Army basic training.

I just don't think we should reinforce that stereotype.
