1. Yep, I voted FOR Barack Obama on October 22.

That had the happy coincidence of also being a vote against Romney, but that didn't matter.

I was voting FOR the best president of my lifetime (I'm 49).

An observation like yours can make us look a little more deeply into ourselves.

And that's almost always a good thing.

4. Yes, the ultra leftist Dems might be of the "anyone but Romney" camp.

I'm of the "pro-Obama" camp because while I'd like a more Leftist president I am not a fan of letting the perfect become the enemy of the good. Every possible effort has to be made to ensure a second term for Obama.

1) President Obama will shift significantly to the left after this; and
2) His success will set the groundwork for someone on the level of Bernie Sanders (if not Bernie himself) to take his place.

We need a new FDR or even a Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy was a Republican but he was also FAR to the left of anyone in office now short of Sanders.

But if we don't get that, I'm still voting Dem in 2016, not third party. I won't split the anti-GOP vote. Others did that in 2000..............................

I only know one person who is genuinely excited about the prospect of President Romney. The rest are voting against Obama, primarily for military issues and social issues.

"hold their nose" to vote for Obama.
Then, there's the Christian group that wants to write in Jesus.
I'll be glad when this is over.

It's possible that my hatred for Mitt has exceeded my support of Obama, but shouldn't that be expected, considering how Romney has conducted himself?
