Don't Get To Excited About This Raid.....

If he was smart - M-A-L would be spotless with any incriminating evidence.

It could be a set-up by his cronies in the FBI.

They don't turn up anything - then he could say that he is being persecuted, targeted by the Dems - like everything else that happened to him - i.e., impeachments, etc.

I hope I'm wrong - but I just don't trust anything these days.

Because he never wrote (or SAID) anything as lucid as that.

there. It would be common sense if you were guilty.

Then again, one might hope the jackass left something on a computer or a cell phone

Barbara McQuaid just said, "We don't catch the smart ones." She also commented that some people are so arrogant that they don't think they'll get caught, which is TFG in spades.

that's one of the requirements of a search order.

Probable cause: The officer should give reasonable information to support the possibility that the evidence of illegality will be found. Such information may come from the officer’ personal observations or that of an informant. If the warrant lacks accurate information as to what will be searched, the search is unlawful.

There is no way the FBI went rogue in this instance. It cannot be a set-up for two important reasons.

1. They had a search warrant which means they went to a judge to show probable cause.

2. Director Wray signed off on the application for the warrant and the search. Take that to the bank. There's no other way this could have happened.

Trump's reaction is typical for him and I'm sure he and his lawyers are starting to feel a little heat.

I meant AG Garland, not Director Wray.

There is no way the FBI could have gotten the search warrant with out the AG's approval. None.

Sorry my brain-fart confused my point. It's why, at the end of my reply, I offered to apologize to AG Garland if we actually see indictments of Trump & Co.

You trying to tell us what?

They probably had a mole, and knew exactly what and where whatever it is they found

If this was like the last biggest deal of his life, losing the election (remember he called it for himself early)

He would be screaming “they found nothing!”

And I repeat, respectfully.

I think that the benefits are good. It is directly tied to the missing documents. If he got rid of them, he is still in trouble, because he had them last, and had no right to. If they are recovered, that's good, too. Perhaps some relate to the insurrection, perhaps not. But it has unsettled the sociopath, a good thing.

Will it amount to a hill of beans of an avalanche of documents proving criminal acts by TFG? Who knows. But this is the real deal - approved by Garland and signed off by at least one judge. We need to stop seeing republicans as all powerful. Trump is a greedy bastard and an idiot and so are his flying monkeys.
