finally got power back

still hundreds of thousands here without power. Gas lines miles long. People getting very testy. Schools still closed, hundreds of polling places may be without power,people without gas to get to the polls and no way to inform them of any changes in polling places. I am concerned about my neighbors who dont have power back ( it is going into the 30s tonight) and worried about the elections-both Presidential and local congressional races- we have a very tight race in NY Congressional district 1- Bishop (d) and Altschuler the outsourcer (r). Going to make GOTV calls tomorrow and walk door to door on Tuesday.

we had a generator for a few hours a night- had people over for dinner, offered lodging for friends too.
