There would have been a huge backlash witb the marathon adding to the confusion while the city is still bailing out and trying to recover.

and the Mayor was quoted as saying it WILL NOT be cancelled no more than 15 minutes ago. (I'm in Fairfield Cty, CT, watching WNBC-4)
