go on Fox and refute it...given Tim's help with the Delphi after many lost their pension plan and he was also involved with the lawsuit filed by the union when GM closed Lordstown he has a somewhat bipartisan voter base...GM was found to have violated the union contract by shutting down Lordstown GM. People can expect a real payday on this IMHO. I expect a crossover vote...he is going for all the votes he can get...this is a red/purple state.

This isn't New York. Right now Ryan is up four points. This is smart...if we can peel of GOP voters, especially in the rural areas, and get the cities to turn out strongly we will beat Mr. Hillbilly Elegy...(a giant asshole). Tim is running a factory town campaign like Fetterman and other rustbelt Democrats...it is smart. If you have any loose change laying about, I think this race is worth sending a donation.

I,'ve heard him at times and think he's the kind of bread and butter working class popist rep we need more of....He at least talks a good game about Corporate Power...But other times he seems too much on the Don't call me a progressive camp...But a darn sight better than JD Vance I guess.

Ohio isn’t an optimal State for electing someone that the progressive base likes.

guy and well-liked in Ohio. A traditional progressive would not win Ohio...but Ryan is progressive and has a good shot...up by five points as I write this. There is no ' guessing' involved, he is better than any Republican.

BTW, you were going to recommend some good Dem. candidates to donate to. You were waiting for the fund raising numbers for last quarter, ending June 30. Did I miss it or haven't you put that together yet?

14. Tim's Got A Shot At This
Fri Jul 15, 2022, 10:41 PM

He picked up the endorsement of Sherrod Brown, leads JD Vance by 3% in the latest poll, and outraised Vance $9 million to $2 million this most recent quarter.

I live in Ohio and have been a big fan of Tim Ryan's for a while now. Picking up the endorsement of Sherrod Brown (my favorite politician in Washington and a guy from my hometown) is huge. Brown is becoming the only liberal Democrat able to win in a State that is not only increasingly red, but is becoming the wackiest of the whack-job States in the country, thanks to gerrymandering so severe that the Republicans in the State legislature have no fear of ever losing their seats.

Tim Ryan is a breath of fresh air in this State, and he needs to win.
