The Republicans know that they can't win if a majority of ordinary people actually vote. Keeping as many people from voting as possible is their #1 reelection strategy.

That and outright theft of elections, as happened in 2000, 2002, and 2004, at least.

This is another little item the Corporate media do scant reporting on. the tiny amount of voter fraud vs the multi-state vote- suppression - voter intimidation campaign being prosecuted by the Red State Brigade.

I contend that intimidating qualified voters into not voting, denying citizens the ability to register to vote and so forth is fraud-because an election where some citizens are not allowed to vote is FRAUD.

...not voter fraud, which implies that voters are doing something illegal. Election fraud is intimidating voters and using other illegal tactics to suppress the vote.

Suppressing the vote of citizens makes for a fraudulent election. The only people I know of that work hard to suppress voters are r'pukes.
