remind those who have short memories,

It was those ESTABLISHMENT DEMOCRATS who gave you Medicare and Medicare, judges that supported Roe V Wade, fought for workers rights, women's rights, gay rights, environmental rights, Civil Rights, Social Security, against public assault weapon access etc. etc. etc.
and VOTED and supported HILLARY in the 2016 GENERAL ELECTION,against a racist, bigot, and sexist, and did not make false assertions that there was no differenjce between republicans and Democrats, and that the Supreme Court didn't matter, and NEVER voted for Jill Stein or Ralph Nader as some sort of "protest" vote

All those battles were fought, and significant progress made by those ESTABLISHMENT Democrats, and in 2016 some threw it away by either voting third party, or not voting

That was a bigger defeat in my opinion. Dems stayed home, repubs came to the polls. Result: Halt to Obama's aggressive agenda, loss of Supreme Court seat, rise of trump, etc. etc. etc.

Inflation, gas prices, and food prices. That's their primary concern. Whatever affects their wallets is what they care about. Everything else is a afterthought.

both the Presidency and Congress. Democrats set themselves up for failure making promises they
can't deliver. Mitch McConnel would find a way to deal with Senators that won't get in line.

As to your last point, McConnell couldn't get McCain in line and the ACA repeal failed.

What else did they get done from 2017-2019? Their fucked up Tax Cut bill; that was it.

that McConnel would find a way is somehow comparable to a 50-50 Senate with Manchin and Sinema, who don't care.

...to realize, no matter what they perceive as Biden's faults, what a breathtakingly enormous improvement Biden is over his predecessor, and what a calamity was dodged when Biden won.

And, because they don't appreciate Biden enough, they're stupid enough to give Republicans power again, sadly making Biden potentially only a brief reprieve from the downfall of our democracy.
