So. Is there any evidence yet that the hearings are affecting any Trump supporters?

I know that one would have to actually watch the hearings to even have a chance at realization but then again, there's the echo chamber for those who aren't watching.

I wonder, first, are any Trump supporters watching the hearings?

And second, if they are, are the hearings having any effect on them?

And since these are always going to be available I think more and more people will look at them. My daughter is a diehard Democrat but she hasn’t watched any yet she said they are all theatrics they are, she thinks, like the Senate hearings which is a bunch of yelling and screaming. So she called them all theatrics. I told her it’s more like Downton Abby. Addictive And sometimes tearjerking

Maybe a sliver of what rational Republicans remain to see the scope and breadth of the coup.

This is aiming at independent voters or ex-republicans who saw through TFG during his term. Most Trumpist are already brainwashed to not trust anything democrats, RINOs, or MSM are saying about TFG or republicans.

Has not watched a single Hearing. I am reasonably sure she voted for Trump in 2020, but I believe that she doesn’t want to watch anything that might lead her to believe - she was used.

The SCOTUS will overturn abortion rights - so, she’ll probably be happy about that, but now that they’ve basically said we belong to the Wild West - everybody get a gun - she will be quite upset over that. Plus, I think that she is afraid that we might end up with violence with future elections and huge civil disorders.

She recently watched part of a series about the rise of Hitler - and how he came into power - kind of opened her eyes, and for the first time in our history, she started asking questions.

account, with permission.

I went down a rabbit hole on FB the other night. Found a guy I went to high school with, looked at a bunch of his friends who I also went to high school with, etc. Both men and women.

i could literally feel my well controlled depression start to rear its head again. Most of the people I went to school with are Trumpers, and they're fucking idiots. They do not even have the sense to limit their hateful posts to just their friends. They post their shit as "public", or whatever it is called, meaning that I could read them. Dozens of them. Perhaps the progressive people I went to school with just aren't as vocal, I don't know.

Not a single one of them typed anything about the hearings. Not one. Their posts consisted of calling Dr. Fauci a "little son of a bitch", talking about monkeypox, and anti-vax stuff.

When you do something like I did, you get a pretty good feel for how bad this situation is.
