Bowers said he'd vote for Trump again... Defies all logic.

https://apnews.com/article/2022-midterm-elections-capitol-siege-biden-presidential-election-2020-5f0f2eeae477437a5fed9fffe9ce286a

'Bowers was one of five recipients of this year’s John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage award for his refusal to consider overturning the 2020 election results despite pressure from Trump and his supporters.

But while Bowers said the efforts by Giuliani and other Trump backers have been hurtful, he does not levy any criticism on Trump directly and would support him if he were on the ballot.

“If he is the nominee, if he was up against Biden, I’d vote for him again,” Bowers said. “Simply because what he did the first time, before COVID, was so good for the county. In my view it was great.”

Up until the point he completely Fucked Up the Pandemic response, resulting in the unnecessary deaths of 100's of Thousands, and before he Incited An Insurrection and Attempted To Overthrow The Duly Elected Government, he was Great!

Even better, he isn't a Lib! GOTTA OWN THEM!!

Allegiance to a political party can be like devotion to a religion. And for a man who takes scripture as the word of God and was raised listening to authority, it isn't much of a stretch to see how they would be willing to vote for an authoritarian. Even one who tried to get him to break the law.

Only thing he did was pass a massive tax cut for the wealthiest among us.
Any President could do that with an R Congress, only thing they love.

was COVID...so before COVID Trump did great?...so separating families, babies in cages, the muslim ban, Charlottesville, Russian election interference, sucking up to despots, Ukraine coercion and extortion, shit hole countries, racism, antisemitism, Stormy Daniels, sexual assault, abandoning global treaties and agreements, inciting an insurrection, sedition, a coup...all ok, but fake electors...a bridge too far?...thank you for your one moment of conscience...now go away...

I'm flabbergasted. This guy must have forgotten the safe word or something. He loves getting punished. This is not a one-off event. He knows the guy he voted for has not only no moral compass and is power hungry, yet he would willingly vote for him again if he is his party's nominee. Trump is ultimately responsible for the deaths at the Capitol. He casually ruined the lives of numerous election workers to make them look criminal. There is something toxic not just in the party, but in its members who cannot say they were wrong to elect the man and wrong to vote for him again, and definitely wrong to vote for him in the future.

Trump and allegations of connections to organized crime and money laundering in Atlantic City. Or Trump importing workers to do his building projects and then stiffing them. Or Trump soliciting donations from average-income people to pay his son's lap dancer girlfriend $60,000 for 2 minutes of bullshit. Or Trump being barred from having a charity because he bought portraits of himself to hang in his golf course. Trump has never been good for anything, most especially this country (never thought I'd see a bunch of mindless dimwits in Trump hats attack the seat of our democracy).
