The insanity of our gun laws...

Guy wandering around in body armor with an AR-15 caused multiple 911 calls, cops came but determined what he was doing was legal under

Oklahoma's "constitutional carry" law, but arrested him because he was in possession of brass knuckles, which are illegal

Ok as soon as I say that, someone will show me extremists who are maniacal about other weapons as well.

But for the most part, even gun right extremists are more reasonable about bombs, brass knuckles, nunchucks, etc.

It's only guns they're truly extreme about.

Funny that, seeing as how the nra is really just a marketing/lobbying group for gunmakers.

We want to stop gun violence but we don't want to come down hard on people who actually use guns in the course of a crime, if you use a gun in a crime there should be no plea bargaining of the gun charge and anyone involved should expect to do the maximum. We are outraged by a picture of someone with a gun not committing a crime but we shrug off criminals who use guns, it makes no sense.
